Chris and Shalynne were married on a bright May afternoon at The Stables at Cherokee Creek in Conway, Arkansas. Their invitation set the tone for the day: Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 6:30 PM, with dinner and dancing to follow.
Shalynne's lace gown hung from a canopy bed while she got ready, and Chris settled into a cream suit with white sneakers and a soft lavender tie. Outside the white barn, Shalynne and her bridesmaids lined up in coral pink dresses with pink and white rose bouquets. Their first look happened right there against the barn doors, before the aisle filled with flower petals and a ring bearer and flower girl led the way.
The ceremony was outdoors under a wooden pavilion, with pink and white florals on the posts and open green fields behind them. Chris and Shalynne held hands through the vows, and Chris slipped the ring onto her finger while the wedding party stood close in matching peach and cream.
Afterward they paused for portraits with their two dogs, then moved inside the stables for the reception. Long wooden tables were set with black plates, white napkins, eucalyptus runners, and soft peach and white blooms. Their sweetheart table overflowed with pink and white flowers and fairy lights, and guests raised toasts under cafe lights strung across the barn.
Lit marquee letters spelling PAPE with a glowing heart waited by the barn doors for evening portraits. By the time the dance floor filled, purple uplighting and glow sticks kept the party going well into twilight.
Congratulations, Chris and Shalynne. Thank you for letting us tell your story.
