Justin and Pam were married on March 29, 2025, in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Their invitation pointed the way to dinner and dancing at the Shack Up Inn, and the day carried that same easy Delta energy from start to finish.
Pam got ready in light blue silk pajamas before slipping into a fitted, off-the-shoulder lace gown with short puffed sleeves and a long train. She finished the look with white cowboy boots detailed in rhinestones and lace. Justin wore a brown suit with a light blue tie, and his groomsmen matched him in brown jackets and the same soft blue.
Their first look happened alone in the empty church sanctuary, right at the altar. Justin was overcome the moment he saw her. Bridesmaids wore long light blue off-the-shoulder dresses, and young girls in light blue and white joined the wedding party. Later, everyone piled onto a red Home Trolley for the ride between stops.
The ceremony was indoors in a traditional brick church, with wooden pews, a stained-glass window, and an organ behind the altar. During the service, the officiant offered a lighthearted bit of marriage advice: when things get hard, Justin should leave a long-stem red rose on Pam's pillow, and Pam should leave a big bag of chocolate on top of the remote, each a quiet way of saying "I still love you."
The reception was at the Shack Up Inn, with its juke-joint stage and a live band for the first dance. Custom "GW Squared" touches showed up on signs, koozies, and hats. Napkins featured sketches of their three dogs, Bella, Oak, and Wrigley, with the line "Cake is on us!" Guests found Mississippi-shaped cookies, Route 61 and guitar cookies, a bucket of white flip-flops labeled "Dancing Feet," and glow sticks once the floor filled up.
The wedding cake was five white tiers with light blue hydrangeas. Justin's chocolate groom's cake wore chocolate-covered strawberries and a light-up Dallas Cowboys helmet on top. Jelly-bean letters spelling GW2 rounded out the party details.
Congratulations, Justin and Pam. Thank you for letting us tell your story.
